The National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Falmouth is a family favourite
at half-term. As ever, there’s no shortage of half-term
Halloween happenings to entertain the whole family this October.

Spooky story telling

Spine chilling tales told by the Museum’s spooky story teller… come along if you think you’re brave enough.

Work with local artists to create an enchanting shadow puppet show.
Monstrous Make and Takes

Join us every day during half term and take part in our creepy craft
activities. Create witches masks, vampire bats and terrifying trick or
treat baskets as aprt of our monstrous make and take activities.

Meet the Norse men and women from our Viking Voyagers exhibition and
experience horrible, hairy history brought to life with Morvleydh, the
Sea Wolves. Plus make your own authentic ‘King Cnut’ Viking age coin to

Enter our Vikings and Dragons Playzone! Explore the world of Viking
myths, monsters and legends with games galore and fun for kids of all
ages. Dress as a Viking and become a raider or trader, take on the giant
magnetic Viking picture puzzle and slide down the neck of Fafnir the
fearsome dragon if you dare!
All activities are FREE with Museum entrance ticket unless otherwise
stated. One creative craft activity each day. Adult supervision
Opening Hours: The Museum is open every day of the year from 10am – 5pm, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
