For a
sparkling and spooky family day out this October half term make sure to visit
Flambards. All the rides and attractions are open daily for the holidays with
lots to do whatever the weather and a spectacular firework display takes place
on Wednesday 28th October.
Spooky Trail through Victorian Village
From Saturday 24 – Friday 30 October step
back in time, almost two hundred years, and venture through Flambards’ spooky
Victorian Village. This was terrible
time for the working classes, when disease was rife and the spooky streets were
plagued with sneaky pickpockets and murderous rogues. Watch out for the infamous Peggy Price;
Victorian villager and Street Seller, as she wanders the cobbles telling tales
of the vicious Victorian villains and handing out copies of her Halloween Penny
Dreadful; a magazine from the time which will include a spooky quiz trail to
complete as you explore the street along with some facts about Victorians
vulgar habits!
Flambards’ Halloween Tricks & Treats Firework
Spectacular
On Wednesday 28 October, Flambards’ Halloween Tricks & Treats firework spectacular is
an event not to be missed.
Families
can enjoy spine-tingling rides and a spooky pumpkin trail in the creepy
Victorian Village throughout the day and watch fireworks light up the sky in
the evening. The epic display starts at 8pm. This will be Flambards biggest
display of the season!
Headlining
the night are Flava and the Big Dance Company. On stage the talented crews will
be performing their super skilled moves, and showcasing their own brand of hip
hop cool. Whilst entertainment will be running throughout the day in the lead
up to the fireworks spectacular, on-stage from 6pm will be one of Cornwall’s
finest live bands ‘Broken Down’ to get the crowd ready.
