Discover a garden where the spirit of the Plant Hunters lives on with winding, wooded paths, wide open spaces and plants from around the world.

Be wowed by sea views, towering tree canopy of the long walk and jungle-like tree ferns.

Picnic by the stream or enjoy a homemade delight from the tearoom.

Children can run the length of the terrace admiring the blooming Agapanthus and view over Mounts May or play hide and seek on the meadow.  

Trengwainton invites you to explore and come back for more.

Opening Hours

Garden & Tearoom
The garden is open, with one-way routes in place in some areas. You'll need to book your visit in advance. To book a ticket, please visit the website and click on the what's on section. Alternatively please call the booking line on 0344 249 1895. Please note you will be turned away if you do not have a booking.

Our current opening times are Sunday through to Thursday - 10am until 4pm, closed Friday and Saturday.

The tearoom will open from Monday 6th July with outdoor seating only and a slightly smaller menu than usual.

Family (2 adults + 3 children) £12.50

Family (1 adult + 3 children) £7.50
