and gardening center, art gallery, second-hand bookshop and six of the best National Trust
holiday cottages located around the estate.

We've introduced advanced booking at some places to help manage visitor numbers and maintain safe, social distancing. All visitors must book in advance, even if you're a member. Sadly, if you don't book, you'll be turned away. We're limiting numbers to make sure that we can keep visitors and staff safe.

The countryside is open as normal.
The garden is partially open with a one-way system in place to ensure social distancing.
Our cafe is serving hot and cold drinks, crisps, confectionery, sandwiches, pasties, sausage rolls, cakes and ice-cream to takeaway from 10am - 4pm
The shop and plant sales are open 5 days a week from Thursdays to Mondays (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays) 10am - 4pm
The toilets are open as normal and are sanitised regularly through the day.
The house, bookshop and gallery all remain closed for now.
Free to National Trust members with valid membership cards, pre-booking is still essential.
Non-members are required to pay £8 per car on the booking system.
