There is FREE all day car parking for our visitors.

We offer many activities on site throughout the year that are FREE with site entry. See our website for details. Have a go at panning for 'gold' and gems; take home what you find for FREE!
Geevor was the last mine to work the world famous St. Just Mining District finally closing in 1990. Set in fantastic coastal scenery, Geevor is the largest complete mining site in Britain.
Many of the coastal scenes from the BBC Poldark series were filmed around here!
There is FREE entry to the Mine Shop that stocks a huge variety of Cornish items, and the Count House Cafe that serves delicious home-cooked food, including our world-famous pasties! Relax and enjoy the amazing coastal scenery.

Geevor is open from 9:00am to 5pm. The last entry is at 4pm.
Please note that Geevor is closed every Saturday.

There are regular bus services (number A17) from Penzance Railway and Bus Stations to Pendeen/ St. Just. The A1 open top bus comes directly down to the mine.
